Our Team

Mayan Metzler

In a time of global awakening and urgent transformation, I am committed to building the systems and environments that support a more conscious, connected, and regenerative way of living.

As the founder and CEO of TerraLux, I lead a future-forward company rooted in sustainable design, intelligent technology, and holistic well-being. TerraLux creates immersive, adaptive environments — from smart homes and retreats to biophilic spaces — where people can thrive in harmony with nature and innovation. Our mission is to shape the future of living through design that elevates the human experience.

I also serve as CEO of German Kitchen Center, a national leader in European kitchen design. Over the past 13 years, I’ve guided the company in redefining what modern living looks and feels like — making world-class craftsmanship and thoughtful functionality accessible to design-forward households across North America.

In parallel, I founded MycoBriah, a science-based wellness initiative focused on developing nature-powered solutions for long-term human health.

My journey is driven by a passion for innovation that heals, connects, and empowers. Whether through spatial design, scientific discovery, or sustainable systems, I believe we can — and must — reimagine the structures that shape our lives. Through every endeavor, my goal is to elevate what’s possible and co-create a more beautiful, resilient future

Kahlil Calavas

Kahlil Calavas is a creative technologist, entrepreneur, and CTO of TerraLux, where he develops cutting-edge tools for mapping, marketing, 3D scanning, and immersive media. His work bridges AI, AR, and geospatial visualization, helping businesses and communities integrate technology with sustainability and storytelling.

Kahlil’s passion for eco-tourism and immersive media began during a volunteer trip through WWOOF in Costa Rica, where he started a media company for eco-lodges, creating 360 virtual tours, drone videos, and digital marketing strategies. This hands-on experience in voluntourism and regenerative travel shaped his approach to technology, blending storytelling with sustainability.

Later, Kahlil built a 360 virtual tour business in Taos, New Mexico, becoming a Google Trusted Photographer and launching Taos 360, where he created KRpano-powered virtual tours of art galleries, businesses, and landscapes. His background in drone scanning, photogrammetry, and immersive digital environments has since evolved into large-scale projects integrating AI-driven smart kitchen devices, modular architecture findraising, and geospatial storytelling.

Whether scanning luxury Eco Lodges, developing interactive AR wayfinding solutions, or creating digital twins of real-world locations, Kahlil is always at the forefront of innovation, adventure, and eco-conscious technology.

Sina Sadeghi

Sina Sadeghi brings a wealth of experience in artificial intelligence, blockchain, drone technology, and software development to Terralux. Born to an Austrian-Iranian family, he moved to the Dominican Republic at the age of six, where he spent most of his childhood. From the ages of 13 to 18, Sina was deeply involved in music, playing piano and singing in a band that toured the island and performed alongside renowned reggae artists like Cultura Profética, Groundation, and Vicente García. At 18, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech, shifting his focus from music to technology and engineering.

After completing his undergraduate studies, Sina moved to Spain, where he earned a master’s degree in autonomous aerial vehicles, specializing in drone development and programming. He worked for Hemav, a leading agricultural drone company, where he contributed to the development of large-scale autonomous drones capable of surveying farmland and generating detailed reports using advanced sensors. After his time at Hemav, he spent some time as a freelance drone videographer, producing aerial footage for various clients before returning to academia to pursue a postgraduate degree in artificial intelligence, with a focus on deep learning. This led him into the video game industry, where he worked on AI development, level design, and game mechanics. Afterward, he returned to the Dominican Republic, where he leveraged his expertise in drone technology to create high-end architectural visualizations, combining 3D rendering with aerial footage. Around the same time, he entered the blockchain space, co-founding EcoinGrow, a decentralized farming simulation platform that allowed users to buy, sell, and cultivate virtual land on the blockchain.

Sina’s work in blockchain and drone technology led him to collaborate with Terralux, initially conducting drone scans for their properties and optimizing the data for integration into Unity. His technical expertise quickly made him an integral part of the team, where he developed custom NFT contracts in Solidity, designed an advanced search algorithm, and contributed to various programming aspects of the platform. As Terralux evolved, so did Sina’s role, and today, he is focused primarily on artificial intelligence development, working on custom large language models (LLMs), AI assistants, and automation solutions. His work includes running LLMs locally, developing AI-driven tools, and creating intelligent systems to enhance Terralux’s technological ecosystem. With a diverse background spanning engineering, AI, blockchain, drone technology, and game design, Sina continues to drive innovation and development within Terralux.
